Q: How has the season been going?

A: Really good so far. We have some really good talent on this year’s team. If we stay together and keep working the way we are, we will have a good opportunity to do good things.

Q: What has helped you become a better scorer this season?

A: To get better for this season, I did a lot of stickhandling and shooting over the summer. I also skated four times a week and played on the Southern Minnesota elite team.

Q: Why do you love hockey?

A: I love my teammates, and I love the thrill you get from scoring and winning with your teammates.

Q: What are your team and individual goals this season?

A: Our team goal is to make it to the state tournament. My individual goals is to be the best player on the ice, be the fastest player on the ice and create scoring chances for my teammates and myself.

Q: Do you plan on playing junior hockey? If so, why?

A: Yes, I would like to play hockey after high school and work to play college hockey.

Q: Most memorable moment as a high school athlete so far?

A: When I was a junior, we were playing Rochester Century in hockey and we overcame a 3-1 deficit in the third and won 4-3. I scored the game-tying goal on my back. My teammate Tyler DeFore also scored the fastest goal in school history that game.
