Red Knight junior varsity cruises to win over Royals

Norkosky's four-point outing leads BSM past Woodbury.

WOODBURY, Minn. -- James Norkosky set up a pair of goals, scored BSM's final two goals and led the Red Knights to a 6-0 win at Woodbury.

BSM's third shutout of the season saw the Red Knights dominate the first period, grabbing a 3-0 lead while outshooting the Royals, 12-1.

Johnny Khalil's first goal of the season gave BSM all it would need offensively, 5:08 into the game.

The Red Knights then got two goals from its defensemen as Alex Webert scored at 9:27 of the opening period and, with 34 seconds remaining in the frame, Cole Anderson found the back of the net.

Khalil then got things going early in the second period at 1:26 when he gave BSM a 4-0 lead.

Norkosky then scored with 56 seconds to play in the middle stanza and, with 8:12 to play in the third period, he sent the game into running time with his fourth point of the night.

Jonathan Vitelli was the recipient of the Red Knights' play, needing to make just 10 saves to record his second shutout of the season as BSM enjoyed a 41-10 advantage in shots on goal.

The Red Knights are now idle until the Holiday Hockey Classic, Dec. 28-30. BSM's first game of the tournament is a 12:30 pm game versus Elk River on the East Rink at the St. Louis Park Recreation Center.
