Woog paces Red Knights with four-point effort.

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. -- Caelan Woog had a four-point outing and Cole Anderson scored twice as the Benilde-St. Margaret's junior varsity cruised to a 7-0 win over Bloomington Kennedy.

It took the Red Knights nearly 13 minutes to get things going as Jake Leonard scored an unassisted goal with two minutes, six seconds remaining in the opneing period.

It didn't take BSM long to make it a 3-0 lead as it scored twice in the final minute of the period.

Leonard set up Lukas Metcalfe's goal with 43 seconds to play in the period and Woog, who also had an assist on that goal, set up James Norkosky's goal with 31 seconds remaining in the opening frame.

The long goal of the second period did not come until three seconds remained as Anderson converted a power-play opportunity to give the visitors a 4-0 lead heading into the second intermission.

Officially, Anderson's two goal would come just 56 seconds apart when he scored just 53 seconds into the final period.

Woog, after registering three assists, collected his eighth goal of the season with 1:46 to play in the game and, just 34 seconds later, Michael Lothenbach scored an unassisted goal to wrap up the scoring.

The Red Knights had a 41-9 advantage in shots on goal with Jack Sawyer making nine saves to collect his second shutout of the season.

BSM is back home, Tuesday, for a 5 p.m. game versus Chanhassen on the East Rink at the St. Louis Park Recreation Center.
