No. 1 STA rallies vs. No. 2 Breck

ST. THOMAS ACADEMY 5, BRECK 4: The Cadets showed why they are the top-ranked team in Class 1A on Saturday. Matt Kroska started and completed a three-goal spurt in the third period as St. Thomas Academy overcame a two-goal deficit to beat No. 2-ranked Breck. Taylor Fleming scored between Kroska’s goals, with all three coming in a span of 91 seconds. Kroska finished with four goals, three of which came on the power play. Wesley Iverson had two goals and an assist for Breck.

HILL-MURRAY 17, HENRY SIBLEY 2: Kevin Becker and Bobby Bruski  each had a hat trick, and the Class 2A, No. 4 Pioneers had 11 players score in a Classic Suburban victory over the Warriors. Ben Bahe had two goals and four assists while Jake Guentzel had a goal and five assists for the Pioneers.

LITCHFIELD/DASSEL-COKATO 2, NEW ULM 1 (OT): Junior forward John Raisanen’s goal 2 minutes, 47 seconds into overtime lifted the Dragons past New Ulm. Senior goalie Ryan Koivisto recorded 32 saves for Litchfield.
