It's a Mariucci Conference rivalry, it's a Section 8AA rivalry, it's one of Northern Minnesota's best rivalries.
No matter which way you look at it, each Moorhead-Roseau hockey game is practically guaranteed to provide some form of fireworks.
The Spuds and the Rams will faceoff on Tuesday, Jan. 25, for the second time this season - the team's last meeting saw Roseau skate to a 2-1 victory at home.
Now it's Moorhead's turn to host the rivalry game in what could be another preview of this year's Section 8AA championship game.
