Cretin-Derham upsets Edina on back-to-back power-play goals

CRETIN-DERHAM HALL 3, EDINA 2: Luke Dietsch and Tony Barbato scored power-play goals 42 seconds apart in the second period, and the Raiders upset the Class 2A, No. 2 Hornets. Edina was whistled for 11 penalties on the night.

WAYZATA 4, BURNSVILLE 4 (OT): Mario Lucia and Bryan Tabery scored third-period goals, rallying the Class 2A, No. 6 Trojans to an overtime tie with the No. 10 Blaze in a nonconference matchup. Burnsville came out flying, scoring three times in the first five minutes. Mason Wyman and Cory Chapman capped the spurt with goals 58 seconds apart. The Blaze led 4-2 entering the third period.

TOTINO-GRACE 6, BRECK 3: TJ Roo scored two third-period goals, and the Class 1A, No. 5 Eagles scored three times in the period to beat the No. 3 Mustangs. Roo also had an assist on the night.
