Rau scores overtime game-winner against Hermantown

EDEN PRAIRIE 5, HERMANTOWN 4 (OT): Kyle Rau scored with 5 seconds left in overtime, giving the Class 2A, No. 2 Eagles a nonconference victory over the Class 1A, No. 2 Hawks. Rau also had three assists. The Hawks tied it at four on Garrett Skrbich’s goal with 2 minutes, 9 seconds remaining. Eden Prairie outshot Hermantown 54-28.  .

LAKEVILLE SOUTH 12, ROCHESTER CENTURY 3: Justin Kloos had two goals and five assists, leading the Cougars offensive onslaught against the Panthers.

ST. PAUL COMO PARK 9, ST. PAUL SAINTS 8 (OT): Senior forward Mike Eng scored four goals, including the game winner in overtime, as the Cougars outlasted the Saints in a shootout. Saints senior Brodie McMahon forced overtime, capping his hat trick with 51 seconds remaining.

ST. THOMAS ACADEMY 6, TOTINO-GRACE 0: Seniors Zach Schroeder (two goals and two assists) and Matt Kroska (two goals and one assist) led the way for the Class 1A, No. 1 Cadets against the No. 4 Eagles. Sophomore goalie David Zevnick stopped 17 shots to earn his third shutout of the season.
