Totino-Grace gets overtime victory over Chisago Lakes

TOTINO-GRACE 5, CHISAGO LAKES 4 (OT): Eagles senior forward Xavier Fust scored the game-winner 56 seconds into overtime as the North Suburban Conference leaders survived a scare at Chisago Lakes. The Wildcats jumped out to a 4-1 first-period lead on goals from Cory Lushanko, Ory Burggraff, Riley Doriott and Brett Lizotte, but Totino-Grace — specifically Fust — wouldn’t be denied. The senior scored four goals for the second time in three games, bringing his season total to 24.

APPLE VALLEY 3, BURNSVILLE 2: Senior forward Kris Goodman scored a pair of goals as the Eagles held on to win the battle between the top two teams in the South Suburban. Senior Mike Dockry scored both of Burnsville’s goals. Senior goalie Aaron Gretz came up with 27 saves for Apple Valley.

NORTHFIELD 4, MANKATO WEST 3: Sophomore forward Andrew Scofield had a hat trick, including a game-winning power-play goal seven minutes into the third period, leading the Raiders past Mankato West. Scofield had a hand in all four of Northfield’s goals, assisting on senior Charlie Cloud’s tally in the first period.

EAGAN 12, BLOOMINGTON KENNEDY 1: It was a game of spurts for the Wildcats in their South Suburban triumph over the Eagles. Eagan scored a pair of goals 19 seconds apart in the first period, another pair 14 seconds apart later that period and two more 17 seconds apart in the second. Junior forward  Will Merchant put on an offensive display, scoring  a season-high four goals and adding an assist.
