The Cooper Hawks Girl's Hockey Head Coach Chris Johnson has been diagnosed with cancer.  Johnson is a fierce competitor and faces this challenge with great tenacity and spirit to win. The boys are wearing a sticker on their helmets with the initials C J and a ribbon to honor the Coach who has been an ardent supporter of the Cooper program for many years. Both of Johnson's children, Adam & Jenna, graduated from Cooper and yes, also played hockey for the Hawks.

Johnson played his high school hockey in Albert Lea and continues to play to this day in an adult league.  He loves and supports the game in any way he can.  He has always supported the Cooper kids and they want to support him right back.

All of us in the Cooper family and the hockey community at large are sending our hopes and prayers for a recovery. Orange & blue are with you Coach.
