The Overtime Radio Network's Pete Waggoner welcomes back MN Hockey Hub reporter Jordan Doffing who provides his take on the rivalry game from Miners Memorial Coliseum in Virginia last night. It was a game that had more than pride on the line between Virginia/Mountain Iron-Buhl and Hibbing/Chisholm as the No. 1 seed in Section 7A was up for grabs.

The Blue Devils prevailed by a score of 4-0 in the spirited contest. Doffing caught up with the Blue Devils' Garrett Hendrickson, who notched a goal and two assists in the game as well as goalie Andrew Milbridge who was sterling in goal making 24 saves in the shutout. Both coaches shared their post game comments as the teams prepare for the upcoming section playoffs.

Period two features the South Suburban conference clash between Apple Valley and Lakeville South. MN Hockey Hub reporter Michael Murakami shares his thoughts on the game that Apple Valley won by a score of 3-2. The big guns got it done for the Eagles as A.J. Michaelson and Hudson Fasching each had a goal and an assist. Eagles' goaltender Aaron Gretz made 29 saves in the win. Both coaches will share their post game thoughts and we will hear from all three key contributors from Apple Valley.
