Seven different Eagles scored as Red Lake Falls defeated Wadena-Deer Creek, 8-4, in the Wolverines' second home game of the season.
Wadena-Deer Creek also featured scoring variety as each of its four goals were score by different players. Wolverines' goaltender Dylan Isola made 28 saves in the loss.
On Saturday, Feb. 12, many of eyes in the State of Hockey were on Moorhead for Hockey Day Minnesota and two outdoor high school games played as Wayzata battled Roseau and host Moorhead took on Hill-Murray.
However, the two games in Moorhead were not the only outdoor games as the matchup between Red Lake Falls and Wadena-Deer Creek was also played outside.
These two teams had no choice for the game's stage as Wadena-Deer Creek's arena was destroyed during a June 17, tornado.
