1. Joe Anderson, Hibbing/Chisholm
Anderson got the scoring started just 16 seconds into the game to really deflate any wind in Central’s sails. Anderson went on to score another goal and get an assist to help propel his team into the championship game.
2. Adam Johnson, Hibbing/Chisholm
Johnson also scored two goals and got one assist in the 5-1 win over Central. Johnson assisted the Blue Jackets’ second goal which came with 14 seconds left in the first and then scored and empty net goal with 1:45 left in the game to put the final nail in the coffin.
3. Nate Tromp, Hibbing/Chisholm
Tromp stopped 19 of 20 shots to help keep Central off the board and from gaining any momentum. Tromp went several times without seeing any pucks for minutes at a time but was able to shake off the rust and make some big saves.
