After having an apparent goal waived off in the opening period, Duluth East erupted for five unanswered goals in the second and third as it raced to a 5-1 triumph over Elk River in the Section 7AA semifinals on Saturday, Feb. 26, at Amsoil Arena in Duluth.
The No. 1-seeded Greyhounds advance to play No. 2 Grand Rapids in the section championship on Thursday, March 3, at Amsoil Arena.
