Nick Swanson and Jacob Hennessy scored to lead No. 5-seeded Alexandria to a 2-1 triumph over No. 3 Willmar in the Section 6A championship game on Thursday, March 3, at the Municipal Athletic Complex in St. Cloud.
Alexandria takes a 12-15-1 record to the state tournament.
