Red Knights unable to answer Trojans' fast start

Wayzata's three-goal first period leads to shutout win.

WAYZATA, Minn. -- Wayzata scored twice in the game's first six minutes, took a three-goal lead into the first intermission and handed Benilde-St. Margaret's a 5-0 loss.

The Trojans controlled most of the game, holding a 41-12 advantage in shots on goal with the Red Knights' Carson Limesand recording a career-high 36 saves.

After playing eight games in 17 days, BSM gets an eight-day respite before opening Metro West Conference play, Dec. 22, by hosting St. Louis Park.
