Forest Lake 2, East Ridge 1. Ben Muntifering and Wyatt Anderson each recorded two points in the Rangers’ win as goaltender Brady Peterson made 20 saves. Tomy Ogren stopped 16 shots for the Raptors and Jack McVey scored the Ranger goal.
Monticello 2, Rogers 1. Troy Dahlheimer added to his team-leading goal (8) and point (16) totals, scoring both goals in the Magic’s victory. Goaltender Tyler Klatt made 21 saves in the win. The Royals’ Nathaniel Johnston stopped 31 shots in net as Aaron Schmidt scored the lone Royals goal.
Minneapolis 3, Orono 2. Jacob Erickson tallied three second-period goals, completing a hat trick in less than 11 minutes of playing time to lead the Minneapolis offense. Erickson’s final goal came on the penalty kill and put Minneapolis ahead 3-1 late in the second period. Lucas White made 22 saves for Minneapolis, while Evan Babekuhl stopped 16 shots for the Spartans.
Stillwater 3, Woodbury 0. Seven players made their way onto the score sheet in the Ponies’ shutout win, including goal scorers Noah Tussey, Wyatt Wasko, and Luke Hamp. Jesse Brown earned the shutout making 16 saves, while Isaac Wuotila of the Royals stopped 18 shots.
Totino-Grace 5, Osseo 1. Branden Lee scored a third-period power play goal and added two second-period assists to lead the Eagle offense, as Jack Bonfe and Steven Golden each contributed a goal and an assist in the win. Alex Holscher stopped 9 of 10 shots for the Eagles, while Ben Kleineschay made 27 stops for the Orioles.
Prior Lake 5, Chanhassen 0. Preston Underhill scored two special-teams goals, the first on a short-handed opportunity in the first period and his second on a third-period power play just 37 seconds into the final frame, to lead the Lakers. Moses Kaebel and Jackson Jutting also tallied two points and Ryan Miller was perfect in net, making 14 saves for the win. The Storm’s Josh Weyandt made 20 saves.
