Blaine 2, Champlin Park 1. Blaine rallied late in the game scoring two third period goals to take the victory. Kaden Brazinsky scored his first goal of the season breaking the 1-1 tie and giving the Bengals the win. Teammate Bryce Brodzinski scored his team-leading 22nd goal of the season. Goaltender Brandon Benson stopped 20 of 21 shots faced. Brady Swanstrom scored his 12th goal of the season for Champlin Park and goaltender Brennan Boynton had 27 saves.

Boys hockey: Osseo 1, Minnehaha Academy 0. Andrew Aakre scored his third goal of the season to give the Orioles the win. There was a combined 70 shots during the game, but only one got through.It was a defensive battle and goaltender Cooper Olson was perfect making 31 saves to earn the shutout. Goaltender Corey Hendrickson had a solid night between the pipes for the Redhawks stopping 30 shots.

Boys hockey: Minnetonka 5, Wayzata 2. No. 1-2A Minnetonka had a big second period to cruise to a victory over No. 10-2A Wayzata. Ryan Elder led Minnetonka with a pair of goals. Teammate Jack Bayless also had a good night recording a goal and an assist. Three players each had a pair of assists as well. Goaltender Charlie Glockner earned the win making 33 saves. Wayzata’s Joel Matthews picked up his fourth goal of the season and goaltender Trevor Wong stopped 34 shots.

Boys hockey: St. Paul Academy 2, Breck 1 OT. Adam Zukowski scored the game-winning goal at 3:55 in overtime to give St. Paul Academy the win. Will Rathmanner played a big role as he scored the goal that would force overtime. Goaltender Thomas Kuriscak had a great defensive night making 35 saves. Breck’s Hunter Larson scored in the first period to give them the lead. Goaltender Blaine Madson had 19 saves.

Boys hockey: Mounds View 4, Tartan 3 OT. Tartan forced overtime but it was Mounds View’s Joe Sutton who was the hero scoring the game-winner at 4:44 in OT. Scott Jiskra and Henry Claridge each recorded a goal and an assist in the win, and goaltender Luke Ortloff had 35 saves. Brock Bertelsen generated the offense for Tartan scoring a pair of goals in the loss. Teammate Brandon Blank contributed with two assists, and goaltender Ben Poganski had 22 saves.
