Boys hockey: Eagan 7, Apple Valley 4. Eagan exploded with three goals in the second and three in the third to earn a road win. Nick Sherek had a great game for Eagan finishing with a hat-trick and an assist. Teammate Jonny Meiers also contributed with a pair of goals and an assist, and Keegan Johnson tallied three assists. Goaltender Brandon Toussaint had 16 saves in the win. Apple Valley’s Nick Plagge had a pair of goals and an assist, and Will Wright scored and assisted twice. Goaltender Lucky Bolden made 25 saves.

Chanhassen 7, Bloomington Kennedy 3. Bloomington Kennedy’s three third period goals was not enough to complete the comeback against a strong Chanhassen offense. Seven different players contributed with goals in the Chanhassen win. John Witcraft had a goal and two assists, and teammate Carter Chapman recorded a goal and an assist. Josh Weyandt earned his seventh win of the season in net, stopping 17 shots. Zachary Workman had a goal and an assist for the Eagles, and teammate Jackson Fuller scored his seventh goal of the season. Goaltender Peter Vodovnik stopped 29 shots.

Hill-Murray 3, Moorhead 0. Nick Pierre provided the offense for Hill-Murray scoring a pair of goals and tallying an assist. Teammate Troy Tischler recorded a pair of assists in the win, and goaltender Remington Keopple earned the shutout victory with 20 saves. Moorhead’s Lance Leonard stopped 27 shots.

Eden Prairie 6, Hopkins 2. Eden Prairie out-shot Hopkins 38-14 in a strong offensive showing. Chris Konin and Sam Wilhite each had a pair of goals for Eden Prairie, and goaltender Andrew Dietrich earned his eighth win of the season with 12 saves. Hopkins’ Henry Sweeney scored his eighth and ninth goals of the season. Goaltender Bobby Wilson stopped 32 shots.

Eastview 5, Prior Lake 1. Eastview explodes with four goals in the second to earn a road win. Nate Bordson was a force for Eastview tallying a hat-trick. Teammate Zach Anderson also had a great game picking up a goal and three assists. Goaltender Ben Beattie was a wall stopping 20 of the 21 shots he faced to earn his 15th win of the season. Prior Lake’s Hunter Totenhagen scored his third goal of the season, and goaltender Ryan Miller was kept busy stopping 31 shots.

Minnetonka 6, Blake 2. No.1-2A Minnetonka was too strong on offense for Blake to contend with. The Skippers outshot the Bears 42-24. Bobby Brink led the Skippers with two goals and an assist, while Jack Bayless tallied a goal and a pair of assists. Goaltender Cam Smrekar made 22 saves to earn his third win of the season. Bennett Hawley picked up his eleventh goal for Blake, and goaltender Aksel Reid was busy in net making 36 saves.

Holy Family 5, Stillwater 1. Ben Almquist had a strong night for No.7-2A Holy Family contributing four assists. Teammate Brady Ziemer also had a good game picking up a goal and two assists. Goaltender Conan Hayton was almost perfect stopping 16 of 17 of the shots he faced. Noah Tussey scored his 11th goal for Stillwater. Jesse Brown was busy in net making 33 saves.

Boys hockey: Burnsville 5, Shakopee 0. Brehdan Engum led Burnsville with a goal and two assists. Teammate Logan Kittleson scored a team-leading ninth goal of the season. Goaltender Conner Mauck earned the shutout to collect his sixth win of the season stopping 15 shots. Shakopee goaltender Cole Geyen was kept busy stopping 42 shots.
