Minnesota-Duluth head coach Scott Sandelin, a Hibbing native, and Tom Ward of Richfield, the director of hockey and head Prep team coach Shattuck-St. Mary's, will serve as assistant coaches for the U.S. team at the 2012 World Junior Hockey Championships.

Sandelin and Ward will serve under International Falls native and Nebraska-Omaha coach Dean Blais.
