Adam Weisenburger ('07) recently led the Brisbane Bandits to the championship of the Australian Baseball League, the team's third consecutive title.

An three-year letterwinner in hockey for the Red Knights, and an all-conference performer as a senior, Weisenburger played the last seven seasons in the Milwaukee Brewers' organization after graduating from Miami University in 2011.

He traveled to Australia to join the Bandits for the 2017-18 season, batting .292 with six home runs and 22 RBI in 34 games during the regular season.

In four post-season games, he had a hit in each game, going 5-for-11 with a home run, four RBI and an on-base percentage of .538.

In the final game of the best-of-three championship series, Weisenburger hit a two-out, three-run home run to give Brisbane all the offense it would need in a 4-2 win.

During his career as a Red Knight, Weisenburger starred in three sports. He was a four-time all-conference selection in baseball and also earned all-conference honors in soccer while lead BSM to a Class A state title.

During his seven seasons in the Brewers' organization, Weisenburger was a two-time Southern League (Class AA) all-star and was named the organization's top defensive catcher in 2012.
