BSM alum becomes third Red Knight to join admirals in 2017-18.

NORFOLK, Va. -- The Norfolk Admirals have signed forward T.J. Moore ('13), the team announced Thursday.

Moore, who played four seasons at Holy Cross, finished his college career netting a career high 30 points (8g, 22a) in 36 games this season.

He led the Crusaders in goals during two of his four seasons with the team and finished with 106 points (47g, 59a) in 133 games during his college career. The forward was an alternate captain during both his junior and senior seasons and was named the team's MVP as a sophomore.

Before attending Holy Cross, Moore was teammates with current Admirals Grant Besse ('13) and Christian Horn ('12) at Benilde-St. Margaret’s. He was third on the team in scoring, behind Besse and Horn, during his junior year when the Red Knights won the Class AA state title.

The 23-year old netted 163 points (70g, 93a) in 110 games during his high school career.

Among his honors as a Red Knight, Moore was an assistant captain in 2011-12 and a co-captain the following season. He earned all-conference honors in 2012 in addition to being named honorable mention all-state by the St. Paul Pioneer Press and Associated Press.

T.J. Moore finished his Red Knight career fourth in both goals (70) and assists (93) and fifth in points (163).

He was named the Andrew Alberts Most Improved Player as a freshman in 2010, earned the Vic St. Martin Coaches Award as a sophomore in 2011, and was the Jack Jablonski Most Improved Player as a junior in 2012.

Moore will be in Norfolk for the weekend’s games against Greenville (Mar. 16, 17) and Jacksonville (Mar. 18).
