And the winner is...MN Hockey Hub Top Performer revealed

Athletes are considered for the weekly top performer poll only if their stats are entered on the MN Hockey Hub by 10 a.m. on Sundays. If coaches or members of their staffs need access to enter stats, please email mnhubs@sportngin.com.


Top performer winner

Will O'Halloran, Redwood Valley. The senior forward recorded his second multi-goal game of the season — his first was a two-goal effort in a season-opening win — in a 6-5 win over Waseca on Feb. 11. O'Halloran recorded four goals, including back-to-back scores to jump-start the Cardinals offense in the first period. He later scored the game-tying goal midway through the third, then scored the game-winner with less than two minutes remaining in overtime.

Top performer candidates

Reed Bartelings, Gentry Academy. Bartelings led the Stars to a 7-4 win over Amery (Wis.) on Feb. 11. The senior forward, who's tied for the team lead with 30 assists, scored twice and added three assists, including one on the power play. 

Mikey Behring, Waconia. The junior goaltender recorded his first shutout of the season in a 2-0 win over Litchfield/Dassel-Cokato on Feb. 15. Behring made a season-high 44 saves.

Bryce Brodzinski, Blaine. The senior forward registered 11 points (5 goals, 6 assists) to help the Bengals win their final three games of the regular season. His most impressive performance came in a 6-0 victory over Osseo on Feb. 16, when he finished with three goals and three assists. Brodzinski entered this week tied for the state lead in assists (44) and second in points (76). 

Daymin Dodge, Sauk Rapids-Rice. Dodge led the Storm's offense with a goal and five assists, including one on the power play, in an 8-2 win over Willmar on Feb. 15. The six points matched a previous season high and came three days after a five-point performance from the senior (3 goals, 2 assists) in another 8-2 win.

Nathan Hadley, Anoka. The senior goaltender gave up just one goal on 47 shots — posting a .979 save percentage in a 3-1 win over Robbinsdale Armstrong/Cooper on Feb. 16.

Jeremiah Konkel, Southwest Christian/Richfield. The junior forward led the Stars offense in a 14-2 win over Legacy Christian on Feb. 15. He contributed a season-high eight points — scoring twice and adding six assists.

Cam Lemke, River Lakes. Lemke tallied season highs in both assists (4) and points (5) in a 6-0 win over Hutchinson on Feb. 12. All five of the senior defenseman's points came in the second period, where he opened the scoring with a power-play goal six minutes in and added four assists in the remaining 11 minutes.

Garrett Pinoniemi, Holy Family Catholic. The junior forward, who is averaging 2.75 points per game, factored into all of the Fire's goals in a 6-5 win over St. Cloud Cathedral on Feb. 12. He scored twice (once shorthanded) and added four assists. Pinoniemi is tied for fifth in the state with 40 assists and ranks fifth with 66 points.

Henry Welsch, Lakeville South. The senior goaltender picked up his third shutout of the season — his first in nearly two months — in a 1-0 victory over crosstown rival Lakeville North on Feb. 16. Welsch made 38 saves in the win.
