Mueller gets one-year deal with Panthers

Bloomington native and former Breck standout has suffered from concussion issues

Peter Mueller, who grew up in Bloomington and played high school hockey at Breck, has signed a one-year deal worth $1.7 million with the Florida Panthers.

Mueller, selected No. 8 overall by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2006 NHL Draft, has suffered from concussion issues and played in 32 games last season with the Colorado Avalanche.
