The Mr. Hockey Award, presented by the Minnesota Minute Men, is given to Minnesota's most outstanding senior high school boys’ hockey player and is selected by a panel of National Hockey League scouts, junior scouts/coaches and select media members from the state.
The 32nd Annual Mr. Hockey Awards Banquet will be held at noon on March 6 at the Grand Ballroom at RiverCentre (175 Kellogg Boulevard, St. Paul).

Sitting at sixth in the state with 36 assists, Gleekel has been the backbone of an unbeaten Benilde-St. Margaret's team. He also leads the No. 1-2A Red Knights (21-0-1) with 20 goals and 56 points.

Notermann is fifth in the state in assists (39) and tied with teammate and fellow Mr. Hockey finalist Riley Tufte for fifth in the state in points (60). The recent Gophers commit has also has 21 goals, including three hat tricks, and 10 multi-assist games this season for No. 6-2A Blaine.

A fixture on Hill-Murray's blue line, Staum has aided the No. 11-2A Pioneers to a 14-6-2 mark on the year.

Bound for the Bulldogs next fall, Tufte has put on a show in his senior prep campaign, helping No. 6-2A Blaine to a 17-4-0 record. He is third in the state with 36 goals and tied with teammate and fellow Mr. Hockey finalist Luke Notermann for fifth in points (60). Tufte, who has 24 assists, has just two games this year in which he did not register multiple points.
The Frank Brimsek Award, also presented by the Minnesota Minute Men, is given to the Minnesota's top high school goaltender. The winner will be announced at the Mr. Hockey Awards Banquet on March 6.
