Former Moorhead star, Mr. Hockey winner stuck in tough place

The road to the NHL is rarely described as an easy one - something Brian Lee has realized.

The former Moorhead Spuds' star defenseman and 2005 Mr. Hockey award winner has been a healthy scratch for the Ottawa Senators in 25 games this year.

Although being the Senators' first-round draft pick in 2005, Lee has been unable to find consistent ice time.
