Class 2A title game brings back memories for Duluth East goaltending coach

The hearts of Duluth East fans and players sank as Kyle Rau's diving effort sent the puck past Geryhounds' goaltender JoJo Jeanetta in triple overtime to win the Class 2A state championship for Eden Prairie.

All too familiar of a scene for Duluth East goaltending coach Kyle Kolquist.

It was Kolquist who was between the pipes during the epic five overtime game between the Greyhounds and Apple Valley during the 1995 state tournament semifinals.
