MyFoxHockey.com Rankings Week of February 23rd Final

The Eden Prairie Eagles finished the last two weeks of the season in the number one spot.  Edina settled in at number two with and impressive 10-3 record against teams that were ranked in the top ten at some point this season.  Bloomington Jefferson chills in the #3 slot as the difficulty of the schedule has to have some meaning.  If the Jags, ranked #1 in the 2AA and the Hornets ranked #2 in the 2AA meet in the final, the great debate can be put to rest.  Duluth East delivered a steady season and are worthy of their top 4 ranking.  Blaine came on with an impressive Northwest Suburban Conference title and are recipents of a top 5 ranking.  Minnetonka stayed put with their 6-5 ot loss to Edina, and Holy Angels fired off a 20 win season. Woodbury is working their way toward a third straight State tournament season and are champions of the Suburban East again.  Maple Grove and Centennial close out the top ten as the 2nd and 3rd place teams in the Northwest Suburban Conference....Photo courtesy of Michelle Groom.
